About Chapter Eight
Hey there, my name is Manny and I am the founder of Chapter Eight.
So how did Chapter Eight start? I discovered that I have a dairy, egg and gluten intolerance (as well as corn and potato). I mean, who has that many intolerances!? How could I not eat a mouth-watering, decadent chocolate fudge cake again!?... I was not going to accept that.
So, I started baking. At first, it was my OG plant based and gluten free brownies which were the bomb! I experimented like crazy with different flour blends for different bakes and made sure all my finalised bakes tasted like I remember them in my childhood!
One day I finally got the guts and left my corporate job and took my first step into the eighth chapter of my life which was sharing my home-made bakes with the world.
And voila! Here we are today!
